June 30th! Departure date. Our whole 5 person family on a plane flying to Europe.. for a year. No texting (ugh) and all of the clothes I'll be wearing until we return in a back pack. Am I excited? Yes, very very very very very excited. Am I sad? Yes, I'm going to miss a lot of people and places and the 7-11 gas station at the corner and everyone at school. Now that the date is drawing closer it feels more real, Europe is really happening. Our house is getting emptier and the for sale sign out front is a reminder every time I drive up to the house.
June seems so close and far away at the same time...
will write when we start packing up my room!
